JADE DURLING

As part of my biomaterial journey I investigated the surfaces I had created under a microscope. Looking at my work up close and into the small biological makeup of them influenced my creativity to produce more sampling which tested different ingredients, such as incorporating scraps of biomaterials back into a new mixture which helped support my interest in circularity. This idea of looking closer to certain imperfections and flaws of the biomaterials also links alongside the recurring message of my FMP "THE TRACES AND VISIBILITY OF LIFE".
